I had been talked into trying a brand new product on the market "IllumAnight". Honestly, I was skeptical at first about putting something on my arrow, but my hunting buddy, Dr. Clay Reynolds, assured me it would not affect the flight of my arrow so I decided to give it a try. And I am sure glad I did. Because I placed the fluorescent orange capsule behind my broadhead I could instantly identify the spot of impact. Surprisingly at first there was only two drops of blood right where the deer stood. We were able to follow the fluorescent powder an amazing 175 to 200 yards. I could not believe my eyes, I have been bowhunting a long time and this stuff will definitely help you recover a marginaly hit animal which is just what I had.After following the orange trail a short while later I was able to recover my best buck to date a 153 P&Y 10 pointer. IllumAnight made me a believer because we would not have had a clue what direction this deer went, and this is a prime example every shot is not perfect and this is one trophy that would not have been recovered had I not used the IllumAnight.
